Abstracts and extended abstracts
All Abstracts and Extended Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Abstracts should contain 350 to 500 words and not exceed one page. Figures and tables are not permitted.
Alternatively, authors may submit an Extended Abstract of 2 to 4 pages, which may include figures and tables.
Both Abstracts and Extended Abstracts must be prepared exclusively using the ICPS8 template (available in Word or LaTeX format).
All Abstracts and Extended Abstracts must be submitted exclusively in PDF format.
The maximum file size allowed is 4 megabytes.
The PDF file name should include the presenting author's surname and abbreviated affiliation, e.g., Surname_CTU.
Each Abstract or Extended Abstract must be linked to a planned on-site oral presentation.
An on-site oral presentation will be granted only if the Abstract or Extended Abstract is accepted and the registration fee is paid before the registration deadline.
Accepted submissions will be published in the Book of Abstracts and made available for download to conference participants.
All authors must consent to the open distribution of their Abstract or Extended Abstract.

Full papers
Authors of accepted Abstracts or Extended Abstracts may optionally submit a full paper to the conference proceedings, following the Acta Polytechnica CTU Proceedings submission guidelines: https://ojs.cvut.cz/ojs/index.php/APP/about/submissions.
All full papers must be submitted exclusively online via the Microsoft Conference Management Tool. To submit, please register with your email address at: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/
By registering and submitting your manuscript, you also agree to review at least two papers submitted by other participants.
A selection of full papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Protective Structures. All submissions to the journal will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
Presentation guidelines
All Abstracts and Extended Abstracts must be presented in English.
Each presentation is allocated a 20-minute slot, consisting of up to 15 minutes for the talk, followed by 3–5 minutes for Q&A. Please ensure you adhere strictly to the allotted time.
Each conference room will be equipped with a laptop. Speakers must bring a USB drive and upload their presentation to the designated folder at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
Presentations must be in PDF or PowerPoint (PPT) format only.
